Installation

How to install CO2GIS in QGIS — from the Plugin Manager or from a ZIP file.

CO2GIS requires QGIS 3.0 or later. There are two ways to install it.

Option 1 — QGIS Plugin Manager (recommended)

1. Open QGIS.
2. Go to Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins…
3. Search for CO2GIS.
4. Click Install Plugin.

The plugin is available on the QGIS Plugin Hub.

Option 2 — Install from ZIP

If you want a specific version or are working offline:

1. Download the ZIP from the GitHub releases page.
2. In QGIS, go to Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins… → Install from ZIP.
3. Select the downloaded ZIP and click Install Plugin.

After installation

The plugin appears in the QGIS toolbar and under Plugins → CO2GIS → Open CO2GIS. Open it to see the 7-tab interface — see The 7-tab workflow for an overview of how the tabs chain together.
